• Excellent "keyword-search" functionality. You can type in a keyword like "outdoors" and see all the people who are interested in the outdoors.
• Site has been around for years, and thus has an enormous member base so you can find the perfect woman for you.
• Provides users with communication tips so you have an idea of what to say the first time you contact another woman.
• Users fill out short "quizlets" that reveal what type of lover they are, which is fun to find out.
• Allows members to search as "woman seeking woman".

• Although you are paying for the service, you'll still see ads throughout the site. Not something we liked.
• After paying the monthly fee to become a full member you still may have to pay additional fees to use features such as video introductions, voice mail, and text messaging through the site.
• You have to be a paid member to communicate with other members.

Match.com is one of the best rated dating sites on the Internet. They've been in business for years and have built up a solid and trusted brand. The strong point of this site is definitely their extensive feature set that really allows you to get to know people over the Internet.

When you first sign up at the site you'll complete the initial questionnaire as well as short quizlets. You'll have to provide some personal information such as your location, sex, sexual orientation, interests, activities, and life goals. This information will be available on your profile for other members to see, and it helps everyone make informed decisions about which people they'd like to contact through the site.

After your profile is done you can start searching through the women to see who piques your interest. The search feature at Match.com is very extensive, and allows you to filter results by age, location, sexual orientation, interests, and much more. Also, like I mentioned before you can search by keywords, which lets you quickly find members with similar interests as yourself.

One feature we really liked about Match.com is the fact that you can limit who sees your profile. For example, if you're a 23 year old lesbian you can filter your potential matches to 20-30 year old women. This helps prevent 55 year old men from contacting you when you know you'll have no interest in them.
